Open interior framing for a new room addition

Home Additions

Room to grow, without moving.

A new baby, a parent moving in, or you've just run out of room. An addition lets you stay in the house and the neighborhood you already like.

Overview

Additions that match

A good addition shouldn't look tacked on. We match the roofline, the stucco texture, and the interior finishes, and we tie into your existing framing, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC properly instead of patching things together.

Casitas and guest houses are popular here for good reason. They give aging parents a place nearby, give grown kids a first place of their own, or give guests somewhere better than the couch.

Local Expertise

Things to know in Arizona

  • A lot of Valley cities now allow ADUs and casitas. We'll help you sort out what your city and HOA will let you build.

  • We size the HVAC for the new square footage, so the addition stays as comfortable as the rest of the house in July.

  • We match stucco, roof tile, and paint so the addition looks like it came with the house.

Common questions

Can I live at home during an addition?

Usually, yes. Most of the work happens outside your existing walls. When it's time to connect the new space to the old, we'll give you a heads-up about noisy days and any time the water or power has to be shut off.

Is a casita or ADU allowed on my property?

It depends on your city, zoning, lot size, and HOA. The rules have loosened in a lot of Valley cities over the last few years. We'll look at your property and tell you what's possible before you commit to anything.
